This is a difficult message to write.  It is difficult because it will seem to be isolative.  It will appear to be exclusionary.  Some will see it as being “pharisaical”, and others will determine it to be as if I have lost my mind! But the truth remains the truth.

“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” Rev 13:3 (KJV)

I learned a long time ago, whenever I was in the majority regarding religious beliefs, change my view immediately!  Why? Because there is never one instance, Biblical speaking, where the majority of any belief was on the right side.  And such we find ourselves.

The phrase, “and all the world wondered after the beast” continues to roll around in my mind.  The very word, “all” would mean “excluding none”.  You’ve heard the phrase, “all or nothing”.  So, there are two sides.  Either you will have “all” there is to have, or “nothing” at all.  I’m going to look up the word, “wondered” to clarify some thoughts.  (As of this writing, I have never done this, looked it up in the Greek to find the meaning and context, so I will be just as surprised as you might be when I write next.)

The word, “wondered” carries this understanding:  “from <G2295> (thauma); to wonder; by implication to admire :- admire, have in admiration, marvel, wonder.” —Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.  Therefore, this beast, rather, the papacy would have such an attraction, the entire world would be in admiration to go “after” meaning to “follow” it.  Again, I want to emphasize, it as the “whole world”.  The Bible is clear when it states:

“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” 2 Thess 2:11 (KJV).  Now, it does not imply God would actually send them anything, but He would be the “cause” of them believing a delusion, which is something not true, and would rather believe any lie instead of what He wanted them to understand.  Truth can have that effect.  Either you believe it or you reject it as being a lie because it doesn’t fit your understanding or suit your desires but it is the truth nonetheless.  For example, the Sabbath.  For many, it doesn’t suit you so you believe it was done away at the cross or it was given to the Jews, rejecting the truth of the Bible it was given to all man when man was created in the Garden.  There were no Jews then, and it was given to all men, according to Mark:

“And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” Mark 2:27-28 (KJV)  Didn’t say it was made for any particular group of men, and since it was “made” first in the Garden with Adam, a man, therefore, in him since we are born from him, we are to uphold what was given him, AND, what is the most important point, it was given to him BEFORE he sinned, therefore the Sabbath is not a part of any shadow or even having to do with anything involving sin!  But, you may not want to believe this truth and account it as a lie and reject it.  Fine.  You have that choice.  You’ve bought into the “delusion” and as a result will pay the penalty because Christ cannot pay the penalty for those who wish to remain in sin and live as a so-called Christian!

So, let’s get back to the point about “wondered” after the beast.  The majority of Christians we know are “wondering”, “following” behind this false church/belief, according to Scripture.  However, God does and will have His true church, He calls a “remnant” meaning a fragment, small remaining, from the church which became apostate, or false, and they would listen and follow what God has instructed them to do.

So, I need to speak with boldness now, otherwise the message I wish to impart is watered down, meaningless and will miss the mark:  The majority of you who are on my list as friends are following in the wrong path.  If this time, right now, is not your Sabbath (Saturday from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset) day, then whatever day you are claiming it to be, is false, and you are “wondering after the beast”.    If you are not keeping the Ten Commandments, and claim to be following Christ, you are lying and “wondering after the beast.”  You have bought the delusion and as in many cases with a delusion, there are two things which occur:  (1) You are settled with it being a fact, or (2) You’re trying to figure it out and either way you’re lost because when you KNOW the TRUTH, you are SET FREE from “wondering after the beast” or cannot be caught in the “delusion” satan has prepared so artfully for you.

Therefore, if it appears I have no patience with you, it is not because I don’t care.  What I don’t care for is your delusion and I won’t take the time to rent space in my brain to accommodate the lie you have bought into.  If it appears I won’t listen to what you have to say, it is because what you are saying comes from being deluded and I don’t need to allow it to run its course because time is short and we need to focus on truth.  Poison placed in a cup of water doesn’t change itself, but it does change the water.  I choose not to drink.  I know it is poison and no matter how thirsty I might be, I know when I see poison and I know it will never be good, for me, no matter how diluted it might be.

There are certain, established, foundational, Scriptural proofs which you need to have grounded your faith.  If you haven’t gotten them, then your whole ideology regarding Christianity is going to be polluted, like the cup of poison.  You may not be able to see it, but it is in there.
