Have you ever considered when you pray for forgiveness where does the sin go?

No, I’m serious.  Think about it, where does your sin go when you have prayed and ask for forgiveness?  Most people haven’t a clue, and do you have an answer?  If you do not understand the Sanctuary Service, there is no way you would understand where your sin goes when you have asked for forgiveness, and it has to go somewhere.  Read this most important quotation:

“The blood of Christ, while it was to release the repentant sinner from the condemnation of the Law, was not to cancel the sin; it would stand on record in the Sanctuary until the final Atonement; so in the type the blood of the sin offering removed the sin from the penitent, but it rested in the Sanctuary until the Day of Atonement.” –Christ In His Sanctuary, page 38.

Now, do you have an understanding about what occurs when you pray for forgiveness?

All year, the people brought their lambs to be slain in the outer court of the sanctuary.  The priests would officiate by taking the blood of the lamb and placing it on the horns of the altar where the lamb was burned, then once a year, the High Priest would enter into the Most Holy Place where all the sins forgiven remained until the cleansing of the Sanctuary, and would emerge to place the sins onto the scapegoat’s head and lead him into the wilderness forever separating the sins of the people from those repentant.

When you examine the sacred service it gives you an idea what Christ is doing on our behalf.  When He died for us, our sins didn’t go into the Wilderness but was placed where they could be forgiven (cleansed).  Once this is accomplished, Christ will come out of the Sanctuary and place our sins upon the head of satan and he will be led into a wilderness where a cleansing flame will burn until our sins are no longer existing.  But this cannot take place until the record is opened, and every sin ever committed by you is brought up to be either remembered or blotted out.  What would be some of the causes which would keep your sin ever present?  The continual breaking of the Ten Commandments would do it, along with the present teaching by many we’re not under the obligation of the Ten Commandments and under “grace”, or that this all referred to the Jews and not modern day Christians.  These very ideas which are taught in many churches today will have your sin remain and not placed upon satan when the day of reckoning takes place.

I don’t know about you but I don’t want any sin, not a single one, remaining to testify against me because in that case, I would be lost.  Christ’s blood is sufficient for cleansing every sin, every confessed sin, which allows me to stand in perfection before the Father.  Are your sins confessed?  Every one?  Do you think this is impossible to accomplish?  Then you have no idea of the power of the Holy Spirit who is to bring all things back to remembrance.  It is a daily work which must be accomplished in our lives while Christ is ministering on our behalf in the great Atonement work which is going on in heaven right now!

Take this seriously because it is an eternal life-or-death issue.  Now you may fully understand why there will be few who will make it into the kingdom and why God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”  Do you know this, too, or is it the first time you have heard of it?  Stop being a victim of your lack of understanding and false ministry being offered from pulpits on Sunday morning!
