Supposed you woke up to this fact: Seventh Day Adventist were wrong! Let’s begin with some very hard and difficult facts. James and Ellen White were deceived and propagated a total fraud in deceiving vulnerable people at the instigation of William Miller, who, himself was deceived into thinking God would come in 1844, and we know he was wrong.
Supposed the “Spirit of Prophecy” writings were all lifted from other sources and made to compose a new religious belief for financial gain and popularity for those who didn’t want to be involved in regular hard work which constituted living in the 1800’s.
Supposed Sunday worship was instituted by the Apostles and documentation was discovered which establishes this fact.
Supposed there is no Sanctuary truth which became a doctrine to be associated with a group who were deceived into thinking if they were to be judged it would have a greater impact on the deception and they would follow without question for fear of being wrong and adjudged lost.
Supposed the presidents and leaders of the Adventist Movement were handpicked by satan to perpetuate this fraud.
Supposed the teachings regarding the Sabbath and Mark of the Beast issue were in error and the Sabbath was changed and those who regard it such were in keeping with a defunct Jewish fable and those worshiping on Sunday held the truth.
Supposed those cultic events surrounding Waco and Jonestown paled in comparison with the Adventist Movement cult because for 160 plus years they continue to propagate and flourish because the devil continues to grow in strength and uses them in a spectacular way.
What would you do?
This is what many who challenges and will challenge Seventh Day Adventist in time to come believe.
What would be the hardest of choices to make is this: If all of this WERE proven to be true, where would you go to find truth on the caliber of what you have been taught is the truth?
I would have to take this stand—personally: If Seventh Day Adventism were wrong, I would choose death, because I cannot see any other religious body having a tenth of what had been given and preached from the pulpits of Adventism and their founders.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16 (KJV)
And I just happened to believe the Seventh Day Adventist Church was given the Gospel for these last days, and quite frankly, I would be ASHAMED to leave it!
