NO POWER IN THE “CHURCH” NAME

One of the most remarkable of events during the era of Christianity had taken place twice:  (1) Day of Pentecost where the various tribes of Israel and Gentiles put away their differences due to their religious origins and joined together, and (2) Prior to 1844, the message of the “Advent”, the soon coming of Christ was near, denominations recognized the imminent return and put away their doctrinal differences and ideologies and believed nothing should separate them in this particular belief.  This will occur, again, for the third and last time.

It needs to be made clear, it matters not whether you are a member of the “Church of Christ”, Pentecostal, Baptist, Mormon, even Catholic, or any other of the numerous claims, none of these particular names can save you.  There is nothing particular in the name, or faith, which will garner you special privileges or overlook the faults inherent in these religious organizations.  However, the one thing and the one thing only is Christ IS coming again and coming for a particular and peculiar people who have been prepared to receive Him.

So, stay where you are, just be prepared.  When He returns, it will not be like the Democrat or Republican Conventions where people are holding signs indicating from which state they belong, so no matter what would be written on your sign, your church’s name doesn’t hold any clout.  Last I looked, there were no angels singing in any particular churches I’ve ever attended which gave any indication which was correct or not.  We are all in the same boat.  So, what DO we need to ensure our safety in this last cruise of life?

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Rev 14:9-12 (KJV)

Seems like it is important to know who is the “beast”, his “image” and his “mark”?  It appears knowing what “wine” represents is, too, important.  The last sentence seems to be a preferred state, keeping the “Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”  If there is confusion within your mind, forget the church and what it teaches, but in YOUR mind, then there is the likelihood of there being a problem, for you, when Christ returns and this is not something you want to have happened.

These verses, the last message for the world, is in your Bible as well as it is in mine.  It does not distinguish between churches, but it is for everyone.  However many different thoughts and interpretations, there is only one true meaning, and will be found by anyone searching for truth.  God does not take pleasure in hiding truth from those He love.  You DO NOT want to be confused about its meaning and what it means to you, regardless of where you attend church services, or not.
