LEAVING IS NOT AN OPTION

“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:” Eph 2:14-16 (KJV)

“No advice or sanction is given in the Word of God to those who believe the third angel’s message to lead them to suppose that they can draw apart. This you may settle with yourselves forever. It is the devising of unsanctified minds that would encourage a state of disunion. The sophistry of men may appear right in their own eyes, but it is not truth and righteousness.” {3SM 21.2}

So, you wish to leave because you can’t get along, rather, they can’t get along with you!  You’re going to find a church where there are believers because where you are presently they aren’t!  Make certain you go to a “true” Sabbathkeeping church because unless they’re ‘reformed’ they’re not the true church!

These are the many responses I have read and continue to read while visiting the timelines and newsfeed on Facebook.  What a marvelous tool this has been because it brings the world together—oops, I have a mistake.  What is really does is reveal just how opinionated, disagreeable, and foolish we are.  I have one beloved brother who has left the faith find it necessary to comment on my posts every time I use the word, “Jesus” instead of “Yeshua”!  And quite frankly, my friends, this would not be the best time for leaving.  It’s familiarly referred to as, “The Shaking”.

The greatest reconciliation ever is between God and sinful man.  Now, if God can be reconciled with man through Christ, how is it we’re not able to be reconciled, after all, we are ALL SINNERS, with each other, if we are not having Christ to assist us?  This is His task, too.  Could it be many of us “think” we’re with Christ when we’re not?  How is it you can be reconciled with God and not the guy who sits in the other pew in your church?  Or that sister who’s singing in the choir?  Or that pastor who’s ministering in your church?

In all of my Bible reading I find only one incident where Christ tells us to “leave”; and this is in the Three Angel’s Message when the call goes out to “get out of Babylon”.  By your leaving are you stating your wonderful SDA Church is Babylon?  In my history, Babylon started out being only the Catholic Church.  Then it grew to being the Apostate Church and now it seems some are making the SDA Church where they’re currently a member, Babylon!  Some of you should look deep within yourselves and this is where you will find another “Babylon”!  It’s a whole lot closer than you think.

My father gave me counsel which proved to be quite useful.  He said, “If you wish to change something, get involved with it and change it from the inside.  You will never change anything from the outside.”  I think this is very true.  I think when I apply it to my personal self, then it is even truer!

Yes, we ARE the true church for these last days.  There can be no doubt satan will attack us so much the more because of who we are and what we represent but to leave when the battle is only just beginning?  No.  Like that other text I love so well, “What will you do when the horseman come if you’re not able to handle the footman?”

Stay right where you are and gird your spiritual armor.
