I have found it amazing the Bible prophesied the Gentiles would “wait” for God’s Law; however, what we’re finding out is they would reject it! Listen to these texts:
“He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.” Isaiah 42:4 (KJV)
Here, the Bible is stating Christ would come, for this particular section of the chapter is talking about Christ’s ministry, and what He would do. Notice the word, “isles” and what the Bible state what they are:
“By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.” Gen 10:5 (KJV)
“God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.” Gen 9:27 (KJV)
Not many of us reading these words, at least those of you reading this post can claim to be of the progeny of Shem. Ya ain’t Jewish! Therefore, you, me, we are of the other two sons of Noah, Japheth and Ham. Let’s make this real easy: If you’re white, Japheth’s your man and if you’re black, Canaan’s your guy. Now, isn’t that being direct? Either way, it means you aren’t Jewish but Gentiles.
Now, if the Bible states the Gentiles would “wait” for God’s Law (Ten Commandments), then what is your response to God’s Law? So many of you have already discarded it, claimed it was only for Shem’s people, the Jews, which rejected Christ’s the Giver of the Law, so we have a dilemma: The Jews rejected the Law Giver and the Gentiles rejected the Law. Oh, what a mess we’re all in! Now, you might say, “How have I rejected God’s Law?” Simple answer: “Do you keep the Ten Commandments?” You’ll probably answer: “No, I’m under grace”, or “That was for the Jewish people, I’m a Christian” as if either one of those answers makes a difference because the end result is still: “YOU REJECTED WHAT GOD GAVE TO MAN—PERIOD!”
Cutting to the gist, it’s that “Fourth Commandment” which gets the Gentiles every time. You know the one, about keeping the “Sabbath day holy”. You all want to keep Sunday which has nothing to do with anything and think God is pleased you rejected His Law for the Devil’s day!
Now do you understand?
