I thought it would be interesting to post photos I’ve taken of what I’ve seen which may be demonstrative of how I see my new home.  Some of these photos may be shocking, but it is how people live, how sin has reduced us to such a low degree of life.  Having grown up in the United States and hearing about deplorable conditions and then to see it for myself, well, is so sad for me.  However, I see it as opportunities to share and give to others what God has given to me.

People are bathing, washing their clothes or their children.  This is not a place for recreation.

Trash in the bay not too far from where the people are washing and bathing.
